I'm going to share with you some easy, delicious, and nutritious snacks for you as quick easy options for those busy days or simply just lazy days haha

These snacks can be eaten anytime during the day but also make great snacks pre-workout to give your body a little extra energy before you start your training session!

Hopefully, this gives you a few new ideas to try!!

Peanut butter and Jam on Toast!!Or as the Americans call it PB + Jelly!

I can't believe I hadn't tried this earlier! It's such a good combo! I do nuttlex with peanut butter and strawberry jam. Sometimes I use sugar free jam and other days normal jam You can also sprinkle hemp seeds on the top. Or cacao nibsMakes a delicious and tasty toast snack!

Roasted Chickpeas

Soooo easy to make and so tasty!!! Chickpeas are also high in protein! Spices and herbs is personal preference but my go to is smoked paprika, salt, garlic powder and olive oil! You could also do curry powder or simply just salt and oil to keep it basic! These also make great toppings for Buddha Bowls as well as solo tasty snacks! To make them mix in a bowl with oil and spices of choice then air fry or oven bake till crispy!

Nut Butter and Apple Slices

With the nut butter of your choice combined with your fave fruit! Ideas could be apples, banana, strawberries! Or you could do veggies like carrot, celery! You can also change the nut butter to hommus or your favourite dip!

Depending what you feel like!

Any Bar or Bliss Ball with Natural Ingredients! These Keep it Cleaner products are just an example of bars and balls that have little to no ingredients. You should be able to recognize the ingredients because things like this don't need crazy sugars, fillers and weird named ingredients.

These make a great on the go snack or also a topping on your oats or smoothies!!

Smoothies!

We all know smoothies are great and easy to make and super delicious and filling and ALL the good things! It can be harder to crave a smoothie mid winter but my fave winter combos would be something more grounding and comforting like a chocolate flavoured smoothie with frozen banana, cacao, nut butter, protein powder and some maca powder. Totally understandable to consume smoothie in your blanket, on a heater, with your slippers and a beanie hehe OR skip the smoothies if you aren't feeling it in the colder weather. Can be good post-workout when your body temp is lifted already!

Rice Cakes! With all the toppings! Sweet combos or savoury combos the options are endless! Could choose savoury options like avocado and tomato, avocado and tuna, avocado and boiled mashed egg, or hummus and cucumber, avocado and vegemite

Sweet options could be nut butter and banana, nut butter and apple, peanut butter and jam (like the toast option we saw) You can really get creative with any combination you want!

Chia Pudding

In the photo you can see the ratios and measurements to make your own! It's super easy and filling and delicious! Sooo many ways you can flavour it too! Peanut butter, protein powder, banana, choc chip, goji berries, fresh berries, nuts anything! Chia Puddings also make great breakfast options! See photo for different size recipes depending how much you want to make!

Yoghurt and Fruit Another great snack option! Use your yoghurt of choice whether that's dairy free, greek yoghurt etc. Add your fave toppings like fresh fruits, granola, nuts, seeds

Yoghurt protein pudding No photo of this one but I love mixing two spoons of protein powder with yoghurt to make a mousse/pudding thing! It's sooo good and great as an after dinner sweet that's also high in protein as well as delicious!

There are soooo many more I could have listed! But these are some of my favourite ones! Hopefully you've got at least one new idea to try this week when grocery shopping for your snacks and meals! Have a beautiful week! Let me know what topics you want to learn about or hear more about!

If you want to work with me I still have a few spots left for online coaching if you're looking to start training and don't know where to start I'm here to help!
