It's a shame that the media has made us all focus more on how we look on the outside. It makes us feel more self-conscious about our outside appearance and more focused on how we can change and alter the outside which steers our focus away from the inside and how we actually FEEL. We tune in less to our bodies feelings and less on our external desire to make external changes.

If we use the analogy of a car. Let's say you have this reeeeeally nice car like a brand new Ferrari and it's bright and shiny and looks really cool. BUT you go to turn on the engine and it starts splattering and leaking oil and it's a mess!What use is that car? How well does it drive? Think of your body like a car. If it looks shiny and new on the outside but inside your health is not great, maybe your constantly tired, fatigued, run down, always getting sick then this is where we need to address a few things. 

We need to remember that our bodies are with us for our WHOLE lives. We don't get to go to the shop and buy a new one like we can a car if it stops working. So it's SOOO important that we take care of our body, that we look after it. I want you to think about your self from the inside out now. Reflect on how well your engine, your body is running right now. Is it tired? Is it feeling sluggish? Is it feeling great? 

I want you to think about how you can turn that around.

What can you do to nurture your body a little more this week? 

What can you do to look after your body a little more? 

Important to note this doesn't just mean exercise and eat well, this can be sleeping more, drinking more water, having more time outdoors, having more slow rest recharge time. This will be different for everyone. 

Write yourself a list of things you can focus on this week that will help your inside glow as much as you want the outside too. 

Spend less time this week focusing on how you look and more how you FEEL and see how nice it is to shift this mindset. You will most likely realize that you actually end up glowing from the outside simply from focusing on the inside! 

Now I want you to also remind yourself that we can't see everyone elses insides. So when we see someone we look at in admiration of their outside, we can't see how healthy they are inside, how stressed they are inside, how good their mental physically emotional health is at that moment. All we see is the outside shell, the tiniest part of their overall health. So compare yourself to you only. Focus on what YOU can do and work on creating the best inside out version of you individually. Just like we can't compare peoples lives from Instagram highlight reels we also can't compare other peoples bodies by only their appearance. Hopefully this was a helpful reminder for you this week! Sending you lots of love as always!
